A superb 18th-century scarificator, truly museum quality.  It is essentially a 13/8” cube. Not only is it a very beautifully decorated and early piece but it works: loads and fires as it should., The case is adjusted low and we haven’t tried to move it, so the blades barely show but they are all there. Larm Apparatus for Hearing Testing. “This noise-maker device was conceived by R. Barony in 1908 to mask or eliminate the contralateral ear during a monaural hearing test.
